ASBESTOS
Asbestos is a fibrous mineral with many properties (thermal, fireproofing, electrical insulation, etc.). It has been used in the construction and renovation of buildings for decades.
Through the years, the asbestos containing materials degrade. The fibres contained in these materials are released in the atmosphere, and represent a danger for health.
The risks are multiple and serious: mesothelioma, lung cancer, asbestosis, pleural disease.
